Thomas W. Tracey, PSO

Thomas is a Paralegal, P1 licensee who provides legal services that are permissible by the Paralegal Licensing granted by the Law Society of Upper Canada and is a member of the Paralegal Society of Ontario (PSO). In addition, he is a past registered Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) Representative with Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).

He has represented many clients at mediations with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Office of the Commission of Tribunals for Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefits Hearings, Small Claims Court matters, Ontario Disability Support Hearings and Examinations Under Oath. Prior to working with Mackesy Smye, Thomas was involved in union contract negotiations between 1981 and 1994 at which time his career pathway steered towards the automobile insurance industry. He was an independent insurance adjuster responsible for claims handling, complex investigations and catastrophic claims.

Thomas joined Mackesy Smye in 2007 and is a Statutory Accident Benefit Specialist responsible for the handling of accident benefit claims, short and long term disability benefits, Canada Pension Plan Disability Claims and Ontario Disability Benefits.
